Five reasons why I've decided to put adverts on my site

Primary tabs

There seems to be a divide on the internet on whether you should or shouldn't have ads on your blog site.

After a couple of months of toying, I've decided to test it out.

Why?

Here's my five reasons for taking Google dollars:

1) It may help cover the cost of the website - okay, I have a full-time job and can currently afford the minimal hosting costs, but I would rather that the adverts covered those costs so I can spend the cash on my house.

2) With the traffic I'm currently getting, I'm hardly going to be able to stop work and live off the Google dollars - despite what the internet myth engine would suggest.

3) It won't affect what I write about and if it can the audience I get to find stuff that they're interested in, then great.

4)It shouldn't affect the reader's experience while on the site. (No, that will just be the design of the site - ed)

5) Why not?

What do you think?
