How do I create a favicon?
Can anyone give me a steer on how to get a favicon to appear on my website?
You might ask what a favicon is? Well it's something like this:
It's a 16x16 icon that websites host and which appears usually to the left of the web address or URL and also in your favourites.
But I just can't get the little blighter to work. The fact that the image appears shows it should be right, but I've cleared the cash, restarted my browser, tried IE, Firefox and Chrome, and still no joy.
I accept it's only a small part of the website, but it's just another little tweak to make the site more mine, and less Drupal template. And it's another of those techy tasks that I can't for the life of me get to work.

Use this link http://tools.dynamicdrive.com/favicon/ and up load an image, say a jpg, a gif you name it. Make sure it's a pretty square image, maybe crop it in photoshop, and shrink it to about 128 px by 128px
Save it and upload it to the fav icon generator.
Way you go.
