I've just installed two new modules to make my work on this site a little easier.
 
The first is a text editor called FCKeditor which is much more user-friendly and less code demanding than the default interface.
 
The second is an image module called IMCE which makes uploading pictures far simpler than the existing method of uploading an image by FTP and then creating an <img> tag.

The only problem I've found thus far is that the background of the editor takes the black background image and the text is tiny, but I'm sure I can tweak them. After all, here's the link to how to change the background for anyone interested.
 
One day, I'll even get around to learning how to tweak the Views, CCK options and overall styling of the site so it doesn't look so dated in style. But one step at a time.
